Static Lives, Sheffield's self-proclaimed dance rock alt band, are back with a new lineup and an evolved sound. Blending '80s synths and high-energy earworms, their music nods to acts like Chvrches, The Naked and Famous, and PVRIS, while staying rooted in the guitar-driven intensity fans have come to love.
Since forming in January 2024, Static Lives have quickly made their mark on the UK scene, selling out their debut tour with packed shows in Sheffield, Manchester, London, Brighton, and Nottingham. They've also earned coveted slots at Tramlines, The Great Escape, and Dot to Dot Festival, sharing stages with industry giants including Snow Patrol and The Human League.
Their first two singles, "Rush" and "Social Anxiety", have received major radio support — including BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music (Amy Lamé), Radio X (John Kennedy), BBC Introducing Yorkshire, Amazing Radio, and more.
